If someone re-posted it here on SparkPeople, then you can click on the report inappropriate post button on their SparkPage and make a note with it that they copied and posted your blog. We can then check into it and take care of it appropriately.

There are no "rules" or "laws" preventing people from copying your blog. You may certainly post a disclaimer asking people not to copy it. But that is the extent of it. The SparkPeople Terms and Conditions include a section on User-generated Content. You may want to read through it if you have concerns.

When people copy our blogs do we have any rights or is it a free-for-all? Someone did so before, and sent me sparkmail but not in time for me to agree, and copied it all the same. I gently put this to another lady just now who had missed the point, and I would like to tell her no, politely.
What do you think please?
