Yep. Otherwise yer gonna drive yerself crazy. And don't forget bms have weight too. Longer term loss is the focus. Switch out something fun for worrying about water weight. Paint yer toe nails, call a friend, smile and breathe deeply.

I guess I should just focus on the pounds of fat that at and to lose either than the water weight??

I totally understand how you feel. This weekend, I was actually starting to glimpse the possibility of ab definition for the first time in a long time. So exciting. Then this morning, I was as bloated as could be, with a nice round belly. Thank goodness I KNEW what it was from, a combo of PMS and lasagne for dinner.


Don't stress too much over water weight, it will dissipate over time.

One caveat- if you are experiencing noticeable edema, where you are swelling up all over, and it's staying or getting worse no matter how you eat or what you do, please see a doctor, as swelling of that type can indicate serious health issues.

Today's excuses are tomorrow's regrets dressed in disguise.

If you eat crap, you feel like crap and that makes you want more crap.

Go to the bathroom.

But no, seriously - there's no point freaking out about water weight. You drink a cup of coffee - it's up. You go to the bathroom, it's down. You have a bowl of soup.. it's up. You sweat during your workout... it's down. Time of the month? Up! Ate too much sodium or alcohol? Up!! And then before you know it, down again.

It is normal and unavoidable for our "water weight" to shift.. basically constantly... many people will find their "weight" fluctuates up to several pounds over the course of a single day.

That is why you can only gauge "real" weight loss by looking at longer-term trends.

Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

Im losing the pounds but for some strange reason im gaining water weight omg!!!
How can or whats the fastest way to lose the water weight??????
