I make hot & sour soup with just a tiny splash of soy sauce for the whole pot.
no-salt chicken broth, sriracha for the hot, vinegar for the sour..a can of bamboo shoots, a package of mushrooms, a block of tofu, cubed, and 1 egg stirred into the broth when boiling.

Am trying to be well by eating better nutritionally. Have discovered there is way too much sodium in Hot and sour soup and nime chow. Tough, as I love these foods. Anyone know a healthy version. Come and share healthy ideas or alternatives to something bad for us.
