It does make such a difference, doesn't it? Even just losing weight makes it easier and when you add in cardio the improvement in ADLs is nothing short of amazing.

I've totally had the same moment. I have been running on a treadmill but i can feel my endurance increasing as time goes by...the shin splints are gone...and I just feel better over all. Good for you! It took a lot of courage for me to start jogging...I pictured myself tripping and rolling LOL...but once I pushed through the fear I realized I could actually do it. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations! Way to make it happen. I understand completely. When I started running I didn't think I would ever get to where I wasn't panting after a few 100 yards. Seems like once you can build up to a mile - then it actually becomes much easier. Best wishes to you!!

That's great, congratulations! What an amazing feeling that is. And although I don't run, I do notice a difference when I strength train. I can lift more weight and do more reps! :)

Today I went for a long walk and jog and for the first time felt the difference when I did bouts of jogging. I wasn't losing my breath as quickly and could jog for longer. I'm even noticing my legs feeling stronger and my body just in general.

It's exciting and very encouraging!

Anyone else have these moments lately??
