Like you I had initial success with SP. But then I started going up and down. I started blogging about my goals and my steps to reach those goals in January. I can't believe what a difference that extra accountability made in my fitness and eating habits.
The fact is that I do not want to blog that I didn't do something I said I would do. (Nothing like putting pressure of yourself).
No matter what you blog about or how often, I am certain it can be an useful tool.

Welcome to blogging! For me, the community aspect of Spark People really is key - when I feel discouraged or lose my direction, my Spark Friends and inspiring blogs really help me get moving. When I reply to other peoples' posts with encouragement and support, it helps me even more than it helps them - or at least I am sure it helps me at least as much! The vey best of luck to you getting your healthy lifestyle back on track!

Hi Everyone, My name is Christa. Single mom of 3 kids, just finished my MBA, and I work full time. I started Sparks last year and lost almost 50lbs. As I was finishing up school I stopped exercising and stress ate. So I gained 15 lbs back. I have made a commitment to myself that I need to drink my daily water requirements and exercise on a steady schedule, I will have success again. Looking forward to reaching my goals this year!
