Like you I had initial success with SP. But then I started going up and down. I started blogging about my goals and my steps to reach those goals in January. I can't believe what a difference that extra accountability made in my fitness and eating habits.
The fact is that I do not want to blog that I didn't do something I said I would do. (Nothing like putting pressure of yourself).
No matter what you blog about or how often, I am certain it can be an useful tool.

Welcome to blogging! For me, the community aspect of Spark People really is key - when I feel discouraged or lose my direction, my Spark Friends and inspiring blogs really help me get moving. When I reply to other peoples' posts with encouragement and support, it helps me even more than it helps them - or at least I am sure it helps me at least as much! Hi Everyone, My name is Christa. Single mom of 3 kids, just finished my MBA, and I work full time. I started Sparks last year and lost almost 50lbs. As I was finishing up school I stopped exercising and stress ate. So I gained 15 lbs back. I have made a commitment to myself that I need to drink my daily water requirements and exercise on a steady schedule, I will have success again. Looking forward to reaching my goals this year!
