I have put on 3 pounds so I think I am eating too much. I think I am trying to compensate for my husband who is not eating enough by eating a small plate. The small plate, though, is even larger than his small plate.

On average I eat about 890 to 930 calories per day and I have not lost any weight. I don't be hungry and I've recently gone to the doctor because my thyroid is enlarged, but blood test results say my thyroid is functioning normally even though it's enlarged. My two sisters are on medication for enlarged thyroid. I even started forcing myself to eat at least 1200 calories a day and exercise anywhere form 30 min to an hour and I have yet to lose any weight.

Think about what you are eating, plan ahead for future meals. You'll get there.

Do you mean that you eat less then 1200 cal and do not loose weight at all?
When I had problems with thyroid gland - thyreotoxicosis, I ate not much but even gained weight. Beside this, I felt week and sleepy, couldn't concentrate, and fell often ill .
Now I take hormones of thyroid gland in pills - feel much better. The weight is melting (sloooowly).

I am having trouble with being able to reach my calorie count of at least 1200, therefore I am not losing any weight. HELP!!
