I just wanted to share my personal experience (for what it's worth) - I've been a Sparkpeople member for many years - and I believe the reason I'm still here working on losing weight, is because I tried to use just part of the program. I, too thought my normal activities were enough. But I'm back again with the Spark Solution and think that the whole program is a big key to its success. The biggest lesson I think I have learned is that your body adjusts to your normal everyday activities so they stop being beneficial as far as weight loss is concerned. "Switching things up" is one of the keys to success in an exercise program - so I humbly suggest that you DO add just 10 minutes a day of an exercise your body is NOT used to. If you already walk 10,000 steps (yay!) do something like push-ups, curls, plank, (things you can do on a yoga mat) - and GOOD LUCK! emoticon

Have you tried typing those terms into the search bar at the top of the page? Maybe you could find something good that way?

I haven't seen a group related to that, but props to you!

As you talk to people in the general forums, you will get better advice if you always specify that you are looking for nutrition solutions, not exercise related ones.

Props to you for getting the nutrition down! That's the biggest key of losing weight that many people haven't gotten a hold of yet. If you're eating like crap, all of the exercise in the world won't undo that. That being said, there is an "Eat Well" team that focuses on eating whole, unprocessed foods. I didn't look too deeply into more, but good luck with your search!

I'm not aware of any Sparkpeople teams that promote non exercise weight loss, but I can say that I don't exercise unless I want to (that means I don't exercise, except to go walking occasionally), and I'm losing weight just fine.

I don't know of any teams, but I just wanted to wish you well.

Hi! I'm trying to lose weight primarily through food tracking and focusing on nutrition. I put very little emphasis on excercize because of having a very active job. I get in my 10,000 steps most days and I enjoy leisurely walks for recreation. Not that I'm trying to say exercize isn't important, but it's not a big component of my weight loss strategy.

Does anyone know of any teams or threads of those taking a similar approach?
