Awesome job! I know how proud you are! I recently took the plunge and did my own first 5k. I was so nervous but did the same things you did and was able to run the whole way. CONGRATS! Be proud!! :o)

Congratulations. What a remarkable accomplishment! I hope it will be me one day running a 5k.

I always soaked up other's posts about doing these things....hoping that one day, it might be me. Well, today was that day!

I took my fellow Sparker's advice (don't start out fast; pace yourself, no new shoes, etc.) and was able to run the whole way. It was much easier than I imagined!

If you would have told me 14 mo's ago that I would be down 6 sizes and running a 5K, I'd have laughed at you & asked what you were smoking.

Miracles do happen!
