Good luck! I agree measurements can be rewarding just as much as weight loss.

Another great way to see progress is taking your measurements once a month. A lot of times I am more impressed with inches lost than pounds lost. emoticon

Don't give up! Sometimes the scale just needs to know that you are serious. emoticon

Hi,
I'm 51 and my goal is to lose 20-25 lbs. but to also become more physically active. I started the Couch25K program about 5 weeks ago. I noticed the scale isn't budging so I know I really need to focus on what I eat so I just started tracking here. I also have a hard time drinking water, but I am now drinking flavored water which helps me. My goal is to lose this weight by Jan 2014.

I CAN DO THIS!!
