Another great way to see progress is taking your measurements once a month. A lot of times I am more impressed with inches lost than pounds lost.

Hi, I'm 51 and my goal is to lose 20-25 lbs. but to also become more physically active. I started the Couch25K program about 5 weeks ago. I noticed the scale isn't budging so I know I really need to focus on what I eat so I just started tracking here. I also have a hard time drinking water, but I am now drinking flavored water which helps me. My goal is to lose this weight by Jan 2014.
