Howdy! Welcome to Spark People. For me the value of an online community over a live person on a phone is that I can access it any time, day or night, from anywhere. And there are hundreds of my wonderful Spark Friends available to "talk" and listen and share and support, when I need them. The expert articles, the trackers, the videos - goodness, the site is packed. I am 60, have been around the diet block more times than I can count and THIS site is what has finally worked for me! Give the virtual community a try! Maybe you will make a Spark Friend close enough to you to make actual contact! Join the Team for your closest town! Give it a try - it is a wonderful "place" to be!

You’ll get where you want to go as long as you are taking more steps in the right direction than the wrong one.

why settle for a buddy when we have teams avalilable to spark people.
go to spark teams and find out just how helpful they can be.

and I am sure you will find one or two ( or several ) special people who will connect
and be helpful as you will be helpful to their journey toward better health.

Here is a link that might help..

Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things:... Psalm 98

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though... we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day my day....So fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal

I am new. Need to lose at least 50 lbs to stop the pain in my back and of course my health. Would like someone to talk to everyday to keep me on track and of course could do the same for someone. I am 66 years old and love to crochet.
