Congratulations...losing 90 lbs in 16 months is very impressive...I started gaining weight after I went through menopause around 50 years old but not that much to be worried...I was around 125 lbs at 5"2 and a small frame.
I have almost always (double anomaly) exercised but never really pushed myself from the kinds of exercises that I did. I would walk on my treadmill and do three or four miles at 4.0 miles per hour or go outside for a walk for 45 minutes to 60 minutes an hour. I am doing 30 minute aerobic exercise on MON, WED and FRI and 40 - 60 minute walking, TUES, THUR, SAT. I weigh 140 lbs and I want to get down to 120 -125 lbs by the beginning of April.
I made a huge mistake and replaced skim milk with almond milk last month and put on pounds...back to skim milk and unsweetened cocunut milk..
Just chatting
Karen

You can create a "grouping" if there is a food or meal you eat on a regular basis. Saves time once you add it to your groups tab.

Start small, celebrate often!

You can do it!

I was 54 when I joined SparkPeople and 56 when I came back and started my Spark Program, starting with Stage One. This is a one day at a time program, but if you do the SparkPeople Program Steps, it really does work. I am terribly average, it's the SP program that is extraordinary.

I found logging my foods in the Nutrition Tracker helped me to lose 90 lbs in 16 months! I started at 210 and went to 120. I am 5'1.5" short, lol.

I hung clothing that was too small on my closet door and every time I would get discouraged I would try them on. Week by week they started fitting! That kept me motivated.

Welcome aboard, we really are all in the same boat! Sometimes we can sail right along but sometimes we have to be rowing like crazy!

You can make it happen! SparkPeople really does work!

I spent most of my 60 years in Obesityville - that is one town I never want to visit ever again!
Slim City is way more fun!!
