WELCOME TO SPARK!!! Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.
1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.
2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.
The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. LOL funny comment."Cruel to animal people" I don't know too much about vegans but i do now it is a lot less harsh on the digestive system. Tips that have been drilled in my head. Small healthy portions every 3 hours and LOTS AND LOTS Of water! I think anything that sounds healthy works if we just stick to it... That's my problem! I need to DEDICATE myself! Not just start and never finish. If i would of kept to it the million times i have started i could probably win a fitness competition or something by now ha ha ha

Good luck with your weight loss. I use to be thin and now I am about 70lbs overweight. I would love to help you out and maybe you can give me some tips also. I am vegetarian and am going vegan if possible. I am not one of those crazy don't eat meat because it is cruel to animals people. I just choose not to eat meat to be healthy. Now my body chemistry won't accept any meat...I get real sick.

Hi every one, I am new here to spark and once again started my weight loss journey 10 days ago. i had lost 7 pounds cheated a bit over the weekend and gained 4 back. ughhhhh Well i am 28 years old and about 25 pounds over weight! i really want to try to loose the weight and get toned this time around. I live in MIami Fl, and have a boat. I practically live in the water when i am not working. I have gotten to the point that i no longer feel comfortable in a bikini and it has really taken a toll on my self esteem. I am not trying to do a crash diet but a life style change! i am hoping to find all the help and support i can get on this website. ANy pointers or bits of advice would greatly be appreciated.
