Hi all~ Im a newbie as of today, I think I posted in the wrong spot and started a new thread all by myself in the " introduce yourself forum' lol. too funny! Oh well, Im hoping I can stick with my goal this time to shed 30 lbs by April. or at least run/walk the woodlands 5k in March without having a heart attack. I am really good at starting diets, eating healthy and what not, I just dome stay on them very long, lotta a good that does me right? I guess I just go back to my old habits. At least that was the old me. This year I'm going to be that person who not only runs but finished that dang 5k! Minus the trip to the ER. My goal anyway. lol. I guess I need a support group living with me 24/7 to keep me on point , I just get bored with it I guess. I have to enthusiasm for exercise, just don't like it and that's probably my biggest problem right now but Im trying to change that. I'm on my second week of Couch to 5K training, hopefully Ill make it to week three. Love this site btw, some pretty awesome stuff tucked in these pages.! I'm liking it.

Hi everyone, i started today! I am a mama of a 4yr old and just had a baby that turns 2 months old on the 20th of this month. I need to regain my confidence by losing weight to make myself feel better about not only my appearance but, feeling healthy again :-) i have a goal of 25 pounds to lose to start with. I hope to gain some cheerleaders from this cite so please feel free to help encourage me along this journey! Thank you :-)

Hi all I started this 4 days ago and I'm so busy all the time I just found the message boards. Glad to know I have others going through this with me. Well I can tell you all a little. about. myself I guess and then we'll go from there. I live in West Valley City, UT. I have been married to my husband for 11 years and we have 6 beautiful children. I'm really excited to be here. I weigh 228 lbs. and want to loose 53lbs. so I am glad to see that others have been successful. I have lost weight on my own befoe, but with 6 kids, homeschooling, and a disabled child it is next to impossible, but now that I found Spark...Well I feel like it will be possible .Anyways, I appreciate all those who share...it helps to know it is possible.Well I guess that's all you need to know about me for now. Hi! I am so excited to find this program. I have type 2 diabetes and have recently gained about 25 pounds and I want to get a handle on it before it goes out of control. I am a retired school teacher and am 64 years old.
My husband is a little overweight also and we were going to join weight watchers but just didn't want to shell out the $80.00 a month (for both of us). This looks like a great program and I already am excited about doing it. Thank you so much for giving us this service free.
