I have been using spark for a few months actively but have only recently discovered the message boards. I am 25 years old. I was married a little less than two years ago. We don't have children at this time and are planning to keep it that way for a while longer. I am currently down 17.4 lbs and counting!

I became a new runner after joining spark and completed my first official 5k on April 1st. I am currently training for a 10k on April 22nd. I haven't incorporated strength training yet but I know it's my next step. I just have to figure out if I wanna go the gym route or the home video route.

I have a puppy (9 months old) who is a black lab Pitbull mix with tons of energy and a great
sense of humor. He demands a long nightly walk or I can expect to pay lol.
