Welcome to Spark. If the gym is too intimidating to begin, start by walking at the park or around the block. Just walking 30 minutes a day - even in ten minute segments, is a great beginner exercise.

Hello - you know what they might look in the beginning but you look too when someone new comes in the door - but when you see they are determined you stop looking - and when you start showing the progress you will be such an inspiration to them

Hi, everyone. I'm committed to getting in shape but unsure where to start. I actually live in a building with a gym but always feel like I'm too fat to go there and fit in. But, I've decided to venture there tonight and conquer my fears. I'll let you know how it goes.
