Hi Sisca, and welcome. So glad you are here to make a change! Get familiar with everything here, make a spark page and join some teams. Teams are good for motivation, support and accountability. I am adding a link to a team to get you started but I recommend you use the team search bar and type in things like interests/hobbies or type in the first number of your age followed by a 0 and something. Example - "30 something", good luck on your journey
Take a few minutes to make up a sparkpage making it public and allowing members to post a comment on it to you
Also remember to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined - lots of encouragement there

Hi, my name is Sisca and I am new to this website and program. I had been try all different diets and lost motivation. My Doctor diagnosed me with Hypothyroidism and I gained 25lbs in the past years and counting. I am hoping that Sparkpeople will be able to help me to my journey. I am losing hope because I don't know what to do. I don't want to take diet pills because I tried it and it only worked for short period of time. If I did not take it then I gained it back.
