Welcome to SparkPeople! It is good to hear that you are tracking your food and exercise. That is the best way to keep yourself accountable. Also, setting other goals for yourself to track (such as Fast Break goals) can help. My biggest recommendation is to set up a SparkPage, blog about your progress, and join SparkTeams. Being active in the community and finding friends is really helpful for motivation and overcoming tough times.

I Started Spark a week ago and have really like the website so far. Keeps me honest by tracking my food and exercise. I have had success in weight loss before but on Fad diets that as soon as you stop the weight comes back like atkins, Hoping this is more of a lifestyle change I can stick to for a long long time.

Any tips on keeping motivated are overcoming those dreaded Plateaus ?
