No, but I have in the past. It's true that you can't lose weight if you're not eating enough food and the right food. I just finished Eating for Life -- great book and it talks about 4 principles: eating the right food, at the right time, in the right amounts and the right combinations. Very enlightening
Fitness 19 in my town is sponsoring a 60 day weight loss team competition that I've entered into with both my daughters and two of their friends. Neither of them have much weight to lose but they want to get in better shape and encourage me plus they are competitive like I am and figured it would be fun.
We get a 2 month free membership + 2 personal training sessions, weekly prizes etc. so we are excited to be part of it.
I met with my personal trainer on Thursday who also happens to be a nutritionist and he told me that I was like most women in the US... afraid of food after I kept a food journal for him as instructed..
Even the days I "was bad" I still wasn't eating enough calories... sooo
He has me on a "diet" that is having me eat more food in one day than I normally do in three days... It's freaking me out a little bit but he promises me if I do what he says the weight will start falling off in buckets...
