I am new to this site and extremely excited to start my journey to a healthier and leaner me! I have started and stopped so many times the past few years I started to lose hope that I would forever stay at where I'm at. Then my husbands dad past away from a sudden heart attack ( he had other health problems too ). It wasn't directly related to his weight as he was losing weight but I did not want my young son to grow up without his mother. I felt that I needed to kick myself in the @ss and get up and do something about it. So here I am. Yesterday, I went for a walk/jog and realized I couldn't run like I used to. The pain in my knees was severe so I opted for a very fast walk. Today it is raining but will do some cardio in the house when I get off of work. =-)
If anyone has any advice or positive reinforcement to give, I'll happily take it! Looking forward to slimming down like I was 10 years ago and having more energy for my son!
