Hi everyone! I'm a total beginner! I don't usually exercise, but I recently joined a gym yesterday and I want to work out 5 days a week. Do any ladies here lift weights or use weight machines to work out your arms? I want to get rid of my flabby arms, but I don't want to gain a lot of muscle, but I do want toned arms.
I also want to eat healthy. I have tried South Beach diet and Weight Watchers and neither of those worked for me. I thought about seeing a nutritionist, but I want to check out some recipes on here though. My main problem is incorporating enough fruits and veggies into my diet. Anyone have any tips on that? I really want to save salads for the summer time, when its hot and I don't feel like cooking.
My goal is to lose 35 to 40 pounds so I can gain some self confidence and start dating again. I'm just so self conscious about my weight. I hope others on here can keep me motivated and perhaps I can motivate others too! Good luck everyone on reaching your weight loss/health goals! We can do it!!
