Hi and welcome. So glad you are here to make a change! Get familiar with everything here, make a sparkpage (you can't join teams if you don't make a sparkpage) and join some teams. Teams are good for motivation, support and accountability. I have added some teams to get you started but you should use the team search bar and type in things like your interests/hobbies and/or maybe some health problems/risks you may have, good luck on your journey.

P.S. Just another thought...Have you thought of Tai Chi as part of your new plan? It is a really calming exercise and might go well with your running..

Hello everyone! I just joined. I am runner. I run 1.5 - 2 miles everyday. Getting in shape for my sisters wedding coming up September 14th. Running is not new to me. I have been running since I was in high school. Things just come up and I stopped running for awhile. Now that I've started again, I do not want to stop.
I'm on here for moral support and to be pushed when I need to be. I also would like to incorporate yoga or some other type of workout along with running so I can start to tone up. I've tried in the past, but burned myself out and stop working out altogether. Advice would be great! Thank you and I look forward to posting more in the future! :)
