I've slowly gained weight over the last 15 years and am at the point where losing a pound is a huge battle. Staying on a "diet" has not worked for me and I need motivation and encouragement to make better choices. My husband and I travel often which results in many meals in restaurants. I've spent money on Weight Watchers several times and I know portion sizes are important and consistently saying "no thank you" to the food pushers in my life. Exercise is something I do not enjoy and my treadmill leads a lonely life. Taking 30 minutes per day to use it is certainly not impossible, I just need to do it. My family health history should be all the motivation I need but I lead a rather sedentary life-style. By joining SparkPeople, I hope to get the encouragement and motivation I'm looking for. All suggestions are welcome. I'm hoping for success! I think I can do it!
