Hi all! I've been on and off Sparkpeople-ing for a few years now. It's been helpful, but all hell broke loose in the beginning of this year when I had a freak accident on a trampoline - I needed major knee surgery and couldn't walk for a few months! But I'm doing better now, and just got engaged a couple weeks ago! Here's the story of how he popped the question - we even made the local news! www.boston.com/metrodesk/2012/08/15/sax-pl
Anyway, now it's time to get down to business. When I finished my masters degree in May, I was at my highest weight ever. Since then I've lost about 5 pounds through just generally making smarter decisions and finally being able to exercise again after surgery. I'd love love love to be down another 30 or 40 lbs by the time I get married. No date set yet, but it'll probably be next fall-ish.
My weight history - I'm a short gal and was skinny until I was about 15 and suddenly it hit me. I did WW with my mom and was down to a good weight through high school. During my first semester of college I had some issues with homesickness and anxiety and lost about 15 lbs, and I was really really unhealthy. Well, I finally snapped out of it and gained all that weight back and have been on a vaguely uphill trajectory ever since. I'd love to be down close to my high school weight for my wedding, so here goes!
