It is indeed a great joy to be able to fit into smaller sizes. It feels like new doors opening to new styles and looks.

MELJONES3478, your post is one of the best I have ever read. There are really no words to fully express the feeling that washed over you when you tried on that dress. The day will arrive when you are in a size 6. The day is coming sooner than you even realize. And your husband is an awesome dude. There is nothing better than a supportive husband to encourage you along the way.

Spark On!

That is fantastic! Aren't you glad you tried it on? I like to see those numbers drop more than those on the scale.

Before I go into details, I will let you know that when I started my journey in August 2012 (nearly 1 year ago) I was wearing size 22. I have slowly gone down, 20, 18, currently size 16. A friend at work gave me a new dress yesterday...size 14. I took the dress home knowing that it would not fit me yet and my husband (always loving & encouraging) told me that it gives me something to look forward to and to work the night progressed I couldn't stop thinking about the dress. I HAD to try it on to find out just how tight it was. I was preparing myself, saying okay just remember where you've come from, what you have accomplished and for the love of God, remember that you are not even putting on spanx or a girdle or any thing of the sort. So I tried an the size 14 dress (without a tummy tucker) and it FIT! I made my husband take a picture of me in the dress & a picture of me holding the "size 14" tag so I could send it to all of my supporters! Next to having my wedding & engagement ring resized from a 9 to a 7...this was one of those moments I am so proud of, it didn't have anything to do with numbers on a scale...but everything to do with the number on that "little grey dress".
