In answer to your question.........you don't have to use the menus that SP suggests. There's a button that you can use to hide them. I am a lousy cook so I don't use their suggestions. I do track my nutrients, daily, and that's what I use to plan my meals.

Hello all...I am new to sparkpeople and I am very confused. I use MFP but thought I would give this a try to. I have no clue about the food thing. My question I guess is...should I be eating what the page says for the day? Do I not have the option to make my own meals? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
