That policy seems WAY extreme and not particularly productive or helpful to those who are struggling. Not a fan!

Sounds similar to Hawaii's roposed solution to their homeless problem - buying them a one-way ticket to the mainland. Doesn't solve anything, just passes it on to someone else. I wonder sometimes why anyone could possibly think these are good ideas!

Oh my!

That is very upsetting because people will resort to unsafe measures to take the weight off quickly. So that they can stay in the country.

New Zealand's immigration authorities think they have gotten to the core of solving the obesity epidemic and rising health costs-- deport fat people. A 50 year-old, 286-pound South African citizen no longer has an "acceptable standard of health" to remain in the country where nearly a third of adults are overweight, according to reports.
