Welcome to Spark! Joining is the first step to success! I agree that joining a team specific to your area will be your best bet in finding a buddy! There are plenty of sparklers out there !

Welcome to SP--you're off to a great start here. Keep posting and tracking daily. Setting up your own Spark page so we can get to know you is a great help. And remember, we're all in this together. We help one another to get to the goal of a healthy weight and lifestyle. Together WE CAN DO IT!! emoticon emoticon

I think your best bet at finding an exercise buddy would be to join a Team specific to your area. I find joining the teams is the best way to get support friends for whatever reason. The teams are set up based on having something in common--location, age, lifestyle, goal, etc. It's all about the people at SparkPeople, so I'm sure you'll find some great support here. But the message boards are sometimes hit-or-miss, whereas the teams target your group of friends and they'll read your blog regularly and keep up with your progress. Hang in there--together we can do this. emoticon emoticon
