I got Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12s. They are fantastic!! Wore them on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day back to back Half Marathons with no problems at all. I have been a faithful Brooks Adrenaline GTS fan for several years. They are not the right shoe for everyone, though. Go to a dedicated shoe store, preferably one that is partners with a local running club. They usually have salespeople that will analyze your gait and your needs, and provide you with better service than a general shoe store.

I have been wearing Mizuno New Wave Riders for a few years and really like them. They are expensive but this is one area that you really need to take care of yourself. Before buying any, I recommend visiting a running store and being evaluated to determine your pronation which will help you find the right shoes.

Big 5 Sports is having a sale and I got me a pair of LA Gear. Got them for my new Group Power weight lifting class.

If so what kind did you get? What did you go with the old ones? Any pics?
