Since you're on the west coast you probably have a Mexican supermarket somewhere in your area. I've always found those to be the best place to get chiles etc. They're actually great for all kinds of produce and meat, and are pretty much always cheaper for those items than the regular supermarket. I used to live a block away from one in Chicago and it was awesome.

I'm interested in New Mexican cuisine but live on the west coast. I would love to hear people's sources for buying authentic, high quality red and green New Mexican chiles.
