emoticon Been here since July. I have lost 40+ since April. I had a knee replaced in November. I too am trying to loose to make the knees better. Physical therapy is done but I continue to do the exercises at home and at a gym. When did you have yours done? Both at once? I have the goal to loose more before June when I am having the other redone. Check out the exercise videos from Coach Nicole. She has several that are sitting. They are slow and easy. I have had to adjust as needed. Love to keep a dialog with you. Check out my page and send me an e-mail. Just think: We live in an age of replacement parts, Awesome!!!

Thank you for the support, everyone! So far, so bad. The idea of really being committed scares me to death and so I ate carb after carb after carb in defiance. Yep, I sure am showing me! But I did exercise and I am eating carrots right this very minute so that is 2 positives! TX.

Welcome! I get in food ruts, too, and HATE veggies! Well, I do have a few that I eat, but not many. This site can help you to reach your goals. Need help? Just ask! Someone is here 24 hours/day. We are as close as your laptop. emoticon

Take a look around the site, there are a ton of resources available. Since you are not a veggie fan, you might try the sparkrecipes.com site and look around there, you may find it a good resource for getting new, healthier, and veg-friendly recipes into your kitchen.

I am a 52 year old mother of 3. I spend most of my time working on my laptop (or rather playing on my laptop)- bridge, finances, photos, reading... I spent ALL DAY yesterday going through weight loss sites to find the perfect one. So here I am! I really, really need to move more (I hate what my fitbit is telling me) and I need to lose weight so that my new knees will last as long as possible. I need to eat veggies (which I don't like), exercise (which I don't like), and cook (which I don't like.) A challenge, needless to say. :) I know the right things to do I just do not apply any of them. I eat the same thing for lunch every day and I mean almost EVERY DAY for a year. Lunch is always reduced fat wheat thins and laughing cow light swiss cheese wedges. I have to add variety but this lunch is so easy! I need help with motivation, desperately! It is so nice to know you are all out there too. :) Thank you!!!
