welome...........Good choice at being here. If you track what you eat that is a place to start. Also on the start up page near the bottom you can put in how much you weigh and how much you want to loose. Then put your workout daily goals so that sparks can figure out how many calories you need to eat in a day. On the sparks meal place it will tell you how many fats, protiens and carbs you will need in a day. Good luck.

Hi Girl,

Ok I could learn that, what I am not finding is a diet that I could fallow here. I need to find what is and what not i should eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner, in order to follow something and start loosing the weight. I am lost in this site, is so big and complicated.

Welcome Modelina - I'm from Florida, central FL on the eastside. Tracking your food gets easier with time especially when you built up your "favorites". When I get lost on spark I always go back to start and begin again. Also use your spark points that is an excellent way to learn your way around.

Hi Dear,

My problem is i don't know where to go to calculate how much weight I want to loose and I need help using the recommendation with food, because i have not time to make my own. At least until i get familiar with this. I really need to loose some weight for March 4. I have a big event in Coco Beach. I am a scout model for kids from 3 years to 21. And I need to look my best.

So i really need help in how to set up and do my food plan to loose weight. But not even know how to start.

Welcome. I have been here 1 month myself and am from NJ. I wish you lots if luck with your weight loss. Try to make sure your enter your food eaten every day. Its what keep me accountable. If I know I am going to want to eat out on the weekends, I try to hit the gym before hand or get in some extra exercise to offset the extra calories.

Hi friends,

I am a new kid in the group from Florida. Are there any Floridians there? I lost my first 30 pounds with HGC 5 months ago, I have not gotten all back yet, but I am on a new road now with Spark People. I have to say it is very difficult to do this on our own, but nothing is stopping me now. I am a mother of two, with different passions and interests, so I am always finding myself running. The new choices I have made is to start packing healthy food on a cooler for us. So when snack cravings or the desire to eat something arrive, we have plenty healthy things to pick from and plenty of water.
