JBRYBYLLA1,

I have been in your position many times with boyfriends having way too much of an opinion about what I should be doing with my own body. Make your goals easily achievable, for example, tell yourself that you're going to track your food for a week and stay within your calorie budget and then once you've done that for a week, tell yourself you're going to do it for another week. 70 pounds can seem daunting when you look at it all at once.

Best of luck on here! If you want to add me as a sparkfriend so we can check in with each other, I'd be more than willing to offer you some support!

Hello Congrats on the first step and getting on spark people. Not having the support you need is not easy. There is lots of people on here in the same boat as you. Many groups you can join that are more then willing to cheer for you and give you advice if you are looking for it. Keeping putting your feet forward you will get to were you want and need to be!!!

Hello JPRYBYLLA1-
I was on sparkpeople a lot, four years ago. I stopped, and gained a lot of weight. I have just about as much to loose as you. Sorry the BF is giving no support. Sparkpeople (SP) is great for online support. try to get points and post a lot.

Hope this is a great tool for you!

I have 70+ lbs to lose and I have no support from BF. Complains I am fat but when I lose a few lbs. he says it wont last & I could lose to lose "X" amount more. Very discouraging.
