Welcome to Sparkpeople! You've found a great place for support. I think it's probably too soon to necessarily see results on the scale. The best words of wisdom are to stick with it and be patient. I know you can reach all of your healthy goals!

Hey, I'm new too. I think I am going to join the 10 minute a day challenge. Not sure if you drink sodas, but cutting sodas out helped me alot. I was drinking diet cokes constantly and I began feeling miserable and tired, so I gave them up. Now, I drink water and occasionally I will have a dt. coke or mt. dew, but water is my friend. Another tip and I find myself working on this, is to not think about working out, just do it. If I think about working out, I will talk myself out of it every time. Best of luck to you. emoticon

I just started a few days ago and did my first weight resistance training today. I am doing the 10 minutes a day challenge for exercise and logging my exercise and calories eaten. I've never done this before but it seems like it makings watching how much you eat easier. My weight is healthy but I want to lose 30 pounds and be at the smallest size I can be but still have a healthy BMI. I am running 10 minutes 4 or more times a week and haven't lost any weight yet. Any tips anyone? emoticon
