I have been staying on track lately despite some parties and my birthday and I feel pretty good. I have been saying my mantra "Just for today I will give up compulsive overeating to soothe, pleasure or entertain myself, and eat only to fuel my body" every day several times and also I have been drinking a lot of water right before lunch and dinner. These two things have helped me tremendously.

My foot is feeling better so I am going to start walking again tomorrow.

I hope that you keep a positive attitude and are one of the people that never do gain the weight back.

Yes you can do this. I think rather then just one big goal (weight loss at a specific time) I have broken it down to a little goal each month. That way I don't feel like the goal is so far away. Like for the month of Feb. my goals are 4 lbs and 20 miles (walk) each week. Best of luck to you as you continue on your path.

I've been on track with my new lifestyle for 33 days now, and I feel better than I did one month ago. It's a bit easier to move around, and I don't have heartburn at all anymore. I just noticed that my pants feel a little looser, and it's a little easier to tie my shoes. Woo Hoo!

I have been coming to terms with slow losing (one pound a week) and that it will take about two years to get to my ideal weight, but I know I will feel much better sooner than that. Each month that I am practicing healthy living will feel better than the one before it. So here is to slow losing and feeling better.

I can do it, I will do it, just watch me!

I'm feeling a little down today. My back is aching and I've been depressed over the amount of weight I have to lose and how long it will take to lose it again. I know I need to be patient, it will come off as long as I work at it. Six months from now I will I will feel so much better and be well on my way. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other.
I've been on track since New Years, 1 week, and I already feel better. I'm not having constant indigestion and heartburn. Also my blood pressure is coming down a bit.
