Deprivation NEVER works. So you have to learn to allow yourself some things every once in a while, otherwise you will never stick to any sort of plan.
My suggestion would be to get rid of all of the foods that temp you on a regular basis. If you don't see it, you won't want it :)

With every food choice you make you are making an investment in your wellness. Your health is your greatest wealth allowing you to interact with life in a thriving embrace of vitality.
Food is fuel that nurtures your body and brain. Feeling guilt and remorse for unhealthy choices diminishes this and can squelch a positive outlook with thoughts like that denying unhealthy choices is a bad thing. Decide that you can change your tastes and cravings just like you acquired them. Know that just one small bite of whatever will tell you all you need to know about it's taste, texture and smell. Moderation is a good thing.

So I did absolutely perfect today...UNTIL....dinner! I binged on 3 helpings of cornbread, a can of corn, 5 slices of bacon and about 2 servings of chips. I had such high hopes for the day. And I wasn't even that hungry. But when I saw the bacon...it was over with. I thought to myself: "Why do I have to write down everything I eat, why does eating have to be coupled with a duty to count the calories, write down every last detail, etc." I want to lose the weight. I just hate denying myself. I guess it's just as simple as that. I know what I have to do. I know we all have to work it...we wouldn't be in this spot if we could just be lazy. I guess I just want an extra push. That one thing that will motivate me for good. Self-hatred doesn't work. What DOES work in the end? Any thoughts?
