I walk during warmer parts of the season. Its in the middle of winter right now. So you won't see me walking.

The hardest step is the one out the front door. If it is the weather holding you back, try a in home walk with Leslie Sansone. Or try Chris Powell Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition work out. It is very low impact and works great. I was sore the next day!!! Just schedule it in and do it!!! Good luck!!!

Fortunately I live in Florida, so ice is not a problem :) But I got a Fitbit and now both my DD have them as well. We text each other during the day with our numbers, and it really creates a fun, competitive incentive!!

We live where there are lots of dirt roads -sometimes great for walking. Other times, like now when there are so many icy spots, can get kinda treacherous. Inside exercise videos are great, but get kind of old sometimes, would much rather be outside!!!!

Hi there! I started two days ago, and I already have had a set back. I love to cook, and to refit my pantry is going to be costly. I have to keep trying though. I am tracking calories in a notebook as well as making journal notes. I need a total hip replacement and before my my specialist will do the surgery I need to lose 50 lbs. So, I journey on with a goal of a mid-summer surgery. My obstacles: extra weight; no activity, no energy, lots of pain, and the less I do the more I can not due. So, another more immediate goal is to get off my butt away from TV to do something that will burn calories. Oh, yeh, I am an old bird, 65 years with a story for every grey hair I have. Please a blessed day.Fond regards,

I see myself and have been slacking off a bit, not going for walks as much and thinking
about food ALOT!
I am staying within my calorie intake though which is awesome for me and I have lost 3 lbs
since last week, which I have to make sure to track. I love Slim Fast shakes since I can have
my chocolate every day emoticon
Well, back to tracking. Hope everyone has a great day!
Sue
