Remember to clean up your diet as well. You can't out-exercise a bad diet. I'd recommend you start tracking your calories, cut out a lot of refined sugars and grains, and work on introducing healthy food choices into your diet.

2.5 pounds a week is the recommended max & men tend to lose more than women. It's definitely attainable. Good luck!

I'm just not giving up on me. I will never stop trying to be healthy, no matter my failures and shortcomings.

3 1/2 months gives you about 14 weeks to work with- a safe target is 28 lb- it is doable, but will be hard. My biggest advice is to work out QUITE a bit- at least 40-60 min a day. Adjust your intake accordingly- I would aim to average out to the middle of your range every day. High protein intake will be good. You do have an additional benefit because you are a man- strength training will make a huge difference for you from the get-go- you have plenty of time to get some definition (which will drastically change the way your body looks!). I think targeting 4-6 cardio days and strength 2-3 times/week will help you reach your goals. Muscle is heavier than fat, so your numbers may not drop as much as you want, but take measurements and compare each month/every 6 weeks!

Current goal:
-8 pounds (32 total) by October

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

I am a soon to be groom and I have 30-35lbs to lose over the summer. I've done it before but in a unhealthy way. Is there any suggestions or advice to lose this amount of weight?

Thanks!
