I've been sick and have already lost 55 pounds but I am starting to plateau. I'm still and always will be sick but now my weight goes up and down based on when I feel really awful and when I feel mostly well. ( I have gastroparesis). I already feel a lot better about myself with the weight I have lost but am disappointed that I have to start putting some effort into it now. It's been really easy up until now. I'm a sugar addict and love chocolate. I find if I stay away from the sugar for about a week the craving for sugar is almost nonexistent but then I fall off the wagon and it's a terrible struggle again. When I feel sick I am very sick and exercise or any other activity is out of the question. Unfortunately I can't eat most foods with fiber due to my illness. No more salads (which I love), very few vegetables, essentially no whole grains...what a pain. I'm happy to find this site.
