Your best bet would be to go and get fitted. I know this is standard advice for runners, because every shoe and every foot is different, and what works for me won't necessarily work for you!

I love my saucony shoes I get a 1/2 inch bigger because I am on my feet all day at work & they normally swell some at the end of the day. I did not do this on my first pair of saucony's but my Doctor said to get a 1/2 inch bigger this time. Sure made a big difference. I would not get any other kind for me personally, over the years I have tried many brands,but this is the one that works for me Judy

Looking for some athletic shoes. Would prefer cross-trainers (not walking only) but will be used heavily for walking so I need that support. Relatively flat foot, wide width, need room in toe box. Need them to be lightweight, well cushioned and breathable preferred. Any recommendations? I used to buy new balance religiously (because you could search by specific features/fit) but the last few times it seemed that they wore out so fast, then they stopped making my favorite shoe and the new models felt so heavy. I'm no label slave so I'm open to trying any brand. It's harder when you have a lot of extra weight- the shoes just don't wear the same. I'm sure there's someone out there in Spark world who can understand!
