Since this is your life at this time you might try a stand up desk or one of the ball type chairs. The stand up desks that I have seen range from the super fancy to the adjustable keyboard trays.
Either one might make it easier for you to move a bit more which should help.

maybe you could change your focus to getting quality sleep in the time you have. Try some of the natural sleep enhancers altmedicine.about.com/cs/conditionsitoq/a/ Insomnia.htm since your day job is more flexible, maybe switch to ALWAYS going in later (10 would be great). Even if you are awake early in the morning, try to just relax and hopefully go back to sleep. Or do some morning yoga or Pilates - something to help relieve stress. Hopefully your body clock can adjust to getting up later, but even if you don't actually SLEEP you'll have some down time. That does help me when my insomnia is really bad.
and you REALLY need to eat right. As previous posts have mentioned, that will go a long way to helping your energy level

I am not going to offer any suggestions on how to stay awake on this schedule, as what you're describing is not only unhealthy for you, but is very unsafe. It's one thing to have to pull the occassional all-nighter... it's quite another to establish a day-in-day-out pattern of sleep deprivation. There is nothing you can eat, drink, take, pop, or do that will compensate for long-term chronic sleep deprivation.
If you are driving to/from any of these jobs (or anywhere, for that matter), consider the risk at which you are putting yourself - and everyone else on the road. Despite "not being illegal," drowsy-driving is, by many accounts, much more dangerous that drunk driving. You can kill yourself. You can kill the person you have the head-on collision with when you doze off behind the wheel.
I do the rubber brand trick, whenever I remember to wear one.
Can't take power naps, wish I could, but my body/mind just won't let me.
Believe me, I try to sleep more, I do not use any kind of alarm clock, have darkening curtains in my bedroom, but it does not matter, I am always awake by 7:30 am.
My morning job is somewhat flexible with me, I can come in late, thus the reason for no alarm clock. I wake up when I wake up usually between 6:30 and 7:30 get ready for work and off I go. I would be thrilled if I could sleep till 8 or 9 am but my body will not let me.
I wish I had more options on what I could eat while I am keying, but rules are nothing but gum or hard candy. No food and no drinks. Even if I could have a container of water beside me it would help, but can't. Don't need to eat on my breaks, as I'm awake then, take a real short walk, use the facilities, wash my face with cold water, get a drink, whatever, I'm fine, but once I sit down... good night.
As they say a body in motion tends to stay in motion while a body at rest....falls asleep. ;o0
You are working 16 hrs per day and Your body is exhausted. No matter what type of pills, energy drinks or vitamins, you may feel wide awake for a while then crash. this will take its toll on your body in some way. There is NO Substitute for Sleep!

a trick that I use to wake up when my insomnia is really bad and I get drowsy at work or at church - put a snug rubber band or elastic on your wrist (not tight, just comfortably touching your skin all the way around your wrist). When I feel like I'm going to doze off, popping the rubber band on the inside of my wrist will wake me up.
any way that you can grab a 'power nap' on your 30 minute break, or would that just make things worse?

That kind of work shift is never easy on a person's body. A 5 Hour Energy once in a while is one thing, but you definitely don't want to rely on those and candy bars for energy.
How long will you be in this position of having to work two jobs ? With time, your body will adapt, but not without health consequenses. That why I do encourage you to get more sleep. No one should have to work that many hours. 5 to 6 hours is not enough. You really need to adjust your schedule to allow for at least 7 hours per night if possible. If you continue this way, you're going to end up making yourself sick.
One thing I would suggest you to is try to bring along healthier snacks. Some of the fatigue you're feeling is less from staying up late and more from the sugar crash. Try to avoid the candy. You may feel a rush for a short period, but then you have to deal with the massive crash. That's no good.
Instead, try to concentrate on eating as healthfully as possible. Bring along some fresh fruit for that quick energy boost. I suspect that if you do your best to eat right and get a decent night's sleep, you'll start feeling better. Honestly, the candy diet is just going to make you feel worse. That's why you need to start incorporating healthier meals and snacks. Increase the number of servings of veggies you eat. Try to eat foods that are high in fiber. Eating foods that are high in fiber will help keep your blood sugar levels stable. That will keep you from getting those sugar highs and lows.
Try to stay away from the sugar and energy drinks. Try to eat more healthfully and you should start feeling a bit better. With hours like these, now IS the most important time to eat right.
The funny thing is, that once I leave work (2nd job) I'm wide awake. I even have trouble getting to sleep once I get home. The problem is my evening job is so boring and just sitting there puts me to sleep. I'm even wide awake at lunch.
And yes I know this schedule is not healthy, but I have no choice. Day job is family business which I have to be there (small family), my evening job pays my bills.

you cannot keep going like that! I've done that type of schedule, but it was only a temporary thing (knowing that definitely helped get me through it)
you've been lucky not to fall asleep while driving, but it's just a matter of time. Something's gotta give! PLEASE don't make it YOU

I'm not going to tell you how unhealthy that schedule is, I'm sure you already know.. but vitamin B12 is recommended for boosting energy and I drink the white monster energy drink cans. They have no calories or anything in them, and they're the only energy type drinks that work for me and also don't make me crash. I know I've read about energy boosting foods, but I can't think of them right now. I know cold watermelon chunks and fruits help me stay awake also.
My day begins sometime between 6:30 am and 7:30 am (depending on if I oversleep). My day job is from 8:00 am - 4:15 pm, this isn't really a problem, because on this job I am somewhat active.
My evening job is from 4:45 pm to 1:15 am, this job requires me to sit in front of a computer for basically 8 hours. I am required to take a 5 or 10 minute break after 55 minutes of keying. Then I get a 30 minute lunch at my 4th hour.
Home by 1:30 am, straight to bed and hope I can get to sleep because I only have 5 maybe 6 hours till the routine starts all over again.
My problem is I can not stay awake during my evening job. After 30 minutes of typing I keep dozing off. Sadly, in an effort to stay awake, I suck on or eat candy adding way too many BAD calories to my daily intake. I can not chew gum so that is out. I occasionally use a "5-hour energy drink", but they don't always work for me, and I don't really like the idea of using them too often.
Can anyone suggest other options, is there a herb or vitamin that might help boost my energy level to keep me awake? Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
