Thank you for the support. I love that you say you feel great even though you haven't seen the lbs fall off. I just want to feel that way again. I've worked out 3 times this week and planning on going again today. Baby steps but I hope to get back on track. Just bummed that I saw a number on the scale I thought I had kissed good-bye. Your motivating and support motivates me. We are all in this together! Thank you all!

I also am looking for motivation. I have started my health journey 1 year and 3 months ago. I haven't lost any weight, but I can tell a huge difference in my body. I feel better as well. Over the last week, I have been increasingly less interested in working out. I will even start a work out and then decide I don't feel like doing it. I do various routines and activities to keep things interesting, but I can't motivate myself to move any faster or longer when running... Needless to say, I need my groove back too.
What you have accomplished is amazing! Life is stressful, and can throw you for a loop. It is important not to be so hard on yourself, and hop back on track. It doesn't matter how long it has been since you stopped what you were origionally doing. Health is a life long project. Consistancy and time will give you results.

You are a wonderful, fallible human being just like the rest of us. You deserve love, compassion, and understanding; even from yourself. It is time for you to be your own super hero, your own knight on a shimmering steed, and your own cheer team!

Now, set your eyes on that distant horizon, and keep running until you reach it!! When you trip, remember, we all trip, we all fall; the successful forgive themselves and get back up!

Hi friends and fellow Sparks! In January of this year I begin a solid work out regimen. I worked my way up to working out 6 days a week and watching what I ate. I felt like I was on top of the world. I only lost about 15 lbs in 4 months but lost over 12 inches all over. Then in May, my job became more stressful than ever and all of a sudden I wasn't going to the gym and began eating and drinking again. Well here it is August and I've gained back the 15 lbs lost plus another 5 lbs. I'm so depressed and just sick about it all. I need motivation I need help getting my groove back. Any ideas, words of widsom, or just anyone that has been there done that and succeeded?
