speaking as a former mary kay, tupperware and amway consultant, i would say contacts contacts and more contacts. you start with friends and family and possibly beg for their help. Selling drinks may be a little more difficult than the stuff I did, but start with them.
I would also check on line in your area for other consultants of other products such as avon, mary kay etc. Get to know them. It is possible that you can share customers/clients. You may be able to do a huge show and have several other consultants show up. Facebook-- makes it easier. Put out requests on line. Let people know what you are doing. Twitter works too. i am sure that you will have the ability to get on a website. Share it with EVERYONE.
Running a home based business is tough. I failed miserably in all aspects of it. I just wasn't the right type of person.
I wish you luck.

These sorts of sales rely heavily on marketing to family/friends/colleagues - who may or may not appreciate the sales pitch.
Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE** Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE** Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)
I have been taking the Zeal for Life wellness drink and loved it. I signed up to be a consultant since I loved it so much. I was hoping for advise from other people who signed up to be a consultant for a company and had success. What are some great ways to get the word out?
