Thank you for the advice! i will definitely try that out. If i dont eat out with them though, my mom won't eat and shes diabetic. I guess i will just force myself to order something healthy no matter how much i want to indulge.

While out shopping, carry healthy snacks in your purse! I usually bring a banana, some almonds, maybe a protein bar (which are handy in situations like these), portable snacks! This keeps me from soft pretzels.....my weakness.

Why not set yourself to maintenance, and not worry about losing weight for just these few days. Focus on maintaining. Plan before you start eating. Fill your plate with half fruits and veggies before you even start. Allow yourself treats! Remember that this isn't all-or-nothing.

To avoid fast food blunders, take snacks with you. :)

I am going up North to visit some family from Wed-Sat. I have been doing so well and i am so nervous that once i smell my moms fantastic cooking, i will indulge to much. I know i will be focused at the same time i might slip! We will also be out shopping of course and worry about fast food. It scares me!
