I like to get creative with soups and they don't take long. I always have cartons of broth on hand and I make what I like to call 'Pantry Soups'. Just whatever I find in the cabinets, veggies on hand and a meat. Haven't made one yet that wasn't delicous. another quick favorite: dice red potatoes, season with salt/pepper/garlic, add cooked sausage or kilbasa or ground whatever, bake 30-40 minutes at 375. Sometimes I add green onion, or olives, or top with cheese. (I consider it quick because it is about 10 minutes prep and then while it cooks, I can do house work, next thing I know, it's done! LOL). Does your family like things like quinoa or cous cous? I like to mix meatballs with some jarred marinara (add more season because they are always bland) and throw it on top of some quinoa. Great.. now I'm hungry.

The pork chop idea is a good one. Pork tenderloins are good too, especially since most require a marinade and you can set that up the night before, and all you have to do the night of is cook it.
Bacon Topped Turkey Meatloaf www.skinnytaste.com/2012/07/bacon-topped-p etite-turkey-meatloaf.html The recipe shows in mini pans, but I did it as one big loaf on a cookie sheet. You could do most of the work the day/night/weekend before, all you'd have to do on the day of is put it on the cookie sheet and add the bacon and sauce, and bake.
I like casseroles & baked pasta or rice dishes. I bake them in a square or rectangular pan, so that it's easier to divide into specific portion sizes. I get one portion, bigger people get two. Basically, pasta or rice of your choice, some type of meat or protein (ground turkey, chopped chicken, even beans), mixed veggies, and then a sauce-type element (tomato sauce or cheese sauce or a creamy white sauce).
You can cook everything separately then combine, or put it in the pan, add a couple cups of water, and cover the pan & cook for a couple hours (but you have to wait another half hour for the pan to cool after cooking or it will be runny & too hot). I usually pre-cook meat & chicken in either case. If you use a large enough pan, and your family doesn't finish it that day, you have leftovers for another meal.

Try using the crock pot. Unfotunately for me, I'm typically gone too long during the day so things get over cooked, but it is nice on busier weekend days.
Also, you can get the pre-cooked turkey or chicken bratwurst/smoked sausages. You can cut them up and sautee with peppers and onions or serve like you would a "regular" bratwurst. I make ground tur,ey burgers at least once a week. You can also use the ground meat to make sloopy joes. Turkey (not pre-cooked) bratwursts/Italian sausages are good, too. Are you allergic to shellfish? Shrimp is pretty quick and easy to cook up in a skillet. I also do breakfast for dinner. I'll scramble some eggs with turkey sausage and cheese for the family and zap some egg whites with the sausage and cheese for me. Sometimes we do bacon or sausage on the side instead of in the eggs. I often add low carb, whole wheat toast or French totast, sometimes pancakes, for me and the girls (my husband is low carb).
On our really busy nights, we often do bagged salad with pre-cooked chicken strips. You could also do lunch meat or steak strips with whatever toppings, or get the kids that come with toppings and dressings. I also sometimes do the microwave roast-type meals, frozen veg or micro mashed potatoes on the side.

I so get you! They get tired of the same old things, even if it is fixed in a different way. My family isn't big on stir frys or wraps. They also don't like veggies.
Lately, I've been trying to do pork chops. I finally got my son to eat salmon, but that doesn't work if my daughter is going to be home as she doesn't like fish at all.
What about a quiche? I can sometimes slip that in as long as it's very infrequent.
I'll sometimes do pancakes for dinner.

My family is getting tired of chicken, tacos, stir frys and wraps and I have a allergy to fish and was wondering what to make that is quick and easy on a busy day,. any suggestions? We're trying to avoid fast food so I've been making dinner everyday.
