You can do it! Just really focus on it. Get rid of all the ice cream - just give it to someone or toss it out. If it isn't in my house, I won't eat it! emoticon

Hi all,

I need some positive encouragement to get me going! My wedding is just under 4 weeks away (eek!) and I can't seem to get my butt in gear to lose a few pounds before the wedding! Little bit of background - Between December and May I lost 25 pounds and was at a really fit, toned weight. But since then I've gained back 8! Every day for the past month I've said "Okay, I'm starting TODAY/TOMORROW" but then I never do! Or I'll make it to the gym for 2 or 3 days and then stop. Not only that, but I find myself eating chocolate or ice cream every night, as a way to calm my nerves!

I know that with less than a month, I can't expect to lose 8 pounds, but I'll settle for 5! Problem is, I start every day with good intentions but then don't follow through. Sometimes I feel like I don't have the mental or physical energy to dedicate to it right now, with all the wedding stuff going on. Other times, I get too busy to get to the gym, and am so exhausted that when I try to wake up early for a workout, I end up hitting the snooze button a million times! Sometimes, I also feel kind of apathetic about it, like "Oh, who cares, I'm fine a few pounds overweight." But at the same time, I don't want to be a few pounds overweight!
I want my motivation back! Any tips, advice, encouragement???
Thank you!
