No, but that is close and it sounds really awesome. I will give this a try.

The one I had--from what I remember--was you melted honey and peanut butter together, maybe corn syrup too--not sure--and stirred this into the cereal. This mixture got pressed into a jelly roll pan. I think I melted chocolate and butterscotch chocolate chips and spread them on top of the bars--in a swirl pattern--like a frosting. This recipe made 24 bars.

I'd still like to find that recipe, but yours sounds awesome too and I will try it. Thanks

Fiber One Cereal Bars
Serves 16


Ingredients

1 1/4 cups fiber 1 original cereal
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chocolate chips(add more or less as desired)

How to make it

Combine the cereal and oats in bowl

On the stove over medium heat mix the brown sugar and honey until boiling

Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt

Return to heat and stir briefly

Quickly pour heated mixture over cereal and oat mixture and stir to combine.

Press mixture into 8X8 dish and allow to cool/harden as desired

Nutrition: Cal 88, Fat 2.4 g, Fiber 3 g

I need some help. I had an awesome recipe for a bar cookie from a weight watcher magazine from around 2008. I think I 'recycled' the magazine. From what I remember, the ingredients included fiber one cereal, peanut butter, honey, chocolate and butterscotch chips. They were so good and completely fulfilled my sweet tooth without being too high in calories--a little fiber too. If you have the recipe, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks emoticon
