5 days/wk @ the gym for **6** weeks??? That is AWESOME!
think about what you want. Every choice you make can either get you closer to your goal, or take you further away.
Focus on the things you CAN control: -eating healthy and tracking EVERYTHING -drink water -getting in a little exercise everyday. Even when you just don't feel like it, take Spark Guy's advice and give it 10 minutes. If you want to stop after 10 minutes, stop. More often than not, I find that I keep going and get in at least 30 minutes. -reward yourself! Set small non-scale goals (1 month straight of daily exercise or tracking; a month w/o drinking a soda; increasing your walking or running pace, etc) and have a reward in mind for when you meet that goal. -take pictures NOW. You see yourself every single day. You will not be able to see the changes. Take a picture now so you can see your progress. And take them at least every 3 months, wearing the same clothes.

Great job with the gym! Sounds like you are building muscle. What type of workouts are you doing? Make sure to mix them up. After a certain routine, your body needs a different jolt.
You may need to tweak your diet to see faster results. Make sure you are tracking your calories each day - that is key for me. Eliminate empty calories, like sugary drinks or alcohol.
Thanks for motivating me - I need to get back to the gym.
1. Being around for my loved ones-- want to run and romp with the one year old nephew and do more grown up things with the older ones
2. Get off medications-- body doesn't need them anyway.
3. Stay out of the nursing home. Would rather take a long cruise in my old age than sit in a smelly nursing home
4. My favorite-- Death-- the best motivator. Don't think I would have much fun in a pine box.
maybe with a few tweaks, one or more of these could work for you.

I have been pretty good, I must say... Proud of myself for keeping up the the 5 day a week gym thing for over 6 weeks now but that is really all I feel I can be proud of at the moment... Scale is just not moving fast enough... I'm up like 5 pounds and feeling quite sluggish. The weather is getting nicer and I need to get out of this funk... Help anyone?
