I agree with the earlier post. It takes time to get back down to the weight just like you gained weight over time. Stay the course. Over time you will do this. Just remember you are saying good bye to those pounds forever. They linger but once they are gone they are gone. You are in this for the long haul and to stay healthy.
Yes this weigh loss journey is hard. Yes it can be done. The longer you do it the easier it gets. Soon it will become lifestyle. I am sure that you can do anything you set your mind to. Remember that it's your weight loss journey so you get to design it. it's also your body so you get to design it too..........So go get that body you want....

This may seem like a weird form of encouragement but I do mean it as encouragement. Accepting these ideas actually makes it easier for me to get through each day.
We did not get fat overnight! Or in 1 week or in 1 month. It took us years to pack on the pounds and develop our unhealthy eating habits.
We expect 1 day, 1 week, 1 month of eating well and exercising to knock out years of fat.
Every one of us has to get up every day and look in the mirror and acknowledge the above. You have to embrace this concept and make it part of you.
Once you accept this nasty fact, you can look at yourself and say that you are going to change your life. You are going to be healthy. It is not going to happen in 1 day, 1 week or 1 month. It is going to take us years to lose weight, to learn to eat well, to learn to exercise and learn to be healthy. In fact, it is a journey that will last the rest of our lives. We will get lost on our journey and we will sometimes go off on a detour. But if we accept that this is a lifetime journey to be healthy, not a diet, then we can get back on track and keep going.
You can do this, I can do this, WE CAN DO THIS!

try to learn something from every step in the journey, the forward steps and the backwards steps. when can you do different then "last time". and focus on small steps.

Try a real, live dietitian, a person who can see you and you can talk to them, to help you figure out a healthy menu consisting of foods you enjoy, but in portions that won't let you gain weight. We can commiserate with you, but you have to grab support out of your own core, the dietitian will make it real.
