Vitamins will churn my stomach without food, but switching to the gummy vitamins helped. (Not to mention that I love gummies, so I'm more inclined to take them regularly.)
I used to do this. It was due to a bad job/stress, and I was over-producing stomach acid (I didn't have an ulcer, but I was getting there). Doc recommended OTC med regimen which helped, but ultimately, leaving that job was only thing that helped. To this day, when I'm super stressed, I'll still get sick.
Are you feeling stressed - getting to work? AT work?
Other than that, I would be inclined to check with your Dr, BUT ALSO experiment with a different breakfast! I wonder if something you eat then but not at other times could be having a reaction, like in an allergy? THAT needs to be discussed with your Dr, too!
Personally, I can't eat that soon after getting up. When I could (can't now because of meds), I would wait until I got to work to eat and never had the problem again.

I've also experienced nausea due to the iron in a multi vitamin. When I was pregnant and my pre natal vitamin had even higher iron, the OB recommended I take it with a little food before bed. I slept right through the nausea(if there was any). So it worked for me.

Thanks for all the insight everyone. I think it may be the vitamin I take. I've googled a lot since reading the previous post mentioning that the vitamin could be the cause. I actually found an old thread on here discussing One a Day Women's, which is what I take. And I just realized that on the weekends, I skip the vitamin and am not sick. It's only during the week when I do take it. So, I'm either going to switch brands or just not take them. Who would have thought! Thanks again everyone.
The first signs of insulin resistance and diabetes are nausea and thirst. A surge of glucose enters your bloodstream 30 minutes after eating. You pancreas starts to put out extra insulin to deal with the glucose.
Look at the sugar in the yogurt and granola and cereal...the intake of simple, refined carbohydrates can bring about variations in blood sugar levels. Balancing the morning meal with protein and fat will slow digestion of carbs.
INSULIN RESISTANCE AND DIABETES ARE SILENT in the early stages...please go see an Endocrinologist who is a specialist in metabolic disorders. They will take an A1C test to determine an average of your blood sugar for the last 3 months, a lipid panel, vitamin D test, magnesium test and a thyroid test for starters......
Don't wait since this has been an ongoing problem.......

it could be the vitamin. i feel nauseated *rarely* after eating breakfast as well- so far it seems like when i deviate from my norm (smoothie or whole wheat bagel or coffee sometimes). I just had a breakfast sandwich with jam & cheese and I'm not feeling so hot- that said, I don't ever feel so bad that I think I might bring it up again. I take thyroid meds and wait at least 30 min before eating- no vitamins in the morning for me! So... just commiserating I guess!
I eat breakfast everyday, ranging from a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats, yogurt and granola, or oatmeal. I wake up around 5:15am then have breakfast within an hour, and I'm fine. However, when I get to work, around 7:30-8:00am, I feel very nauseated and literally run to a trash can thinking I can't hold it in. I've only thrown up a couple times (luckily I was still home!), other times, I just feel like it's coming, so I just sit there waiting. It passes within 10min or so. I did take a pregnancy test and it was negative (no other signs of pregnancy anyway). So, I'm not sure what is causing this nausea in the morning. It's the only time I feel like that! And every time, it's about an hour after breakfast. Any thoughts?
