[1] I keep some flaxseeds in a bag in the freezer and grind them when/if necessary. A couple local-ish stores keep in them in bulk areas.

[2] As for the cereal, my SO has had that particular brand before, and rather likes it from time to time.

I think that the flax seeds are whole on the cereal flakes. You are correct, the seeds should be ground. I buy ground flax seed. I sprinkle a tablespoon on my cooked oatmeal. Any health food store should sell it. Give it a try.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows about this cereal? I read that Flax seed should be ground, not whole. Otherwise it just passes through your system. On the box it just says Flax Seed, without specifying. I think it looks like it is whole on the flakes. But it might be ground up too? I have never has flax seed before and after reading up on it, decided I should probably try to add it to my diet. Anybody know?
